Golf Tournament
The golf tournament was a huge success. We raised a little
over $5000.00. It was a gorgeous day, and everyone had a
great time. Shari has reserved the golf course for the
second weekend of October in 2008, so mark your calendars.
Class Opening
There still is an opening in the three year old class.
Please spread the word. We need to fill this spot.
Upcoming Events
Thanksgiving Party: Monday, November 19th
and Tuesday, November 20th at 10:45.
Field trip to see Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry
Caterpillar at the Bardavon: Tuesday, March 4th.
Calendar Change
There will be no school on Wednesday, November 21st.
This is a change from the original calendar.
Welcome Volunteers
There are two volunteers from SUNY helping out in the
classrooms. Liz is helping out in Kathleen’s class on
Fridays, and Jennifer is helping out in Doree’s classroom on
Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Reminders
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. If
your tuition is not in by the tenth of the month you could
lose you spot in the school.
School does not start until 9:00am. The teachers
need time to prepare for the day. Please make sure that you
do not drop your child off before 9:00am. Also, part of
your job as a helper is to clean up the classroom at the end
of the day. Please make sure you do a good job, including
sweeping the floors.
Special Thanks
To Shari Osborn and Mille Weinman for all the hard
work they put into making the First Annual Autumn Golf
Tournament a great success. And thank you to all that
helped out.
To Susan Hill for getting the volunteers.
To Marka Young and her crew, Zach Baum, Shari Osborn,
and Sara Lawson, for cleaning up the playground.
